The Hideaway apartment is a beautiful one bedroom holiday flat overlooking gardens and towards the Devonshire Park tennis in central Eastbourne.

As well as being a stone’s throw from the famous Eastbourne tennis courts, this chic serviced apartment is close to Eastbourne’s theatres, shops and restaurants and just five minutes walk from the picturesque seafront.

Set on the first floor of a handsome Victorian building on Chiswick Place where the Cavendish apartment is located, this holiday haven is perfect for couples or those away with business, playing tennis at Devonshire Park or performing at one of the four local theatres, including the Congress, Winter Gardens, Hippodrome and Devonshire Park.

There is a double bedroom, a bathroom with bath and shower over and a contemporary open-plan living area.

The kitchen is well equipped for a self catering holiday, with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, cafetiere and tea pot plus all the utensils you’ll need to prepare your meals.

The lounge has a Smart TV, plus a digital radio/CD player, and there is a dining table for two with views out over the garden.

Given that the holiday apartment is only about five minutes walking to the train station a car isn’t essential, but if you do drive car parking permits are available for just £2 per day (free on Sundays).

The Small Print

Minimum age of lead guest is 25+. This property does not accept pets or children below 16. Smoking is not permitted. No parties.

There is a week-long minimum stay, with Sunday changeovers in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season or last minute.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
