Jevington Gardens is set on the Lower Meads / west-town-centre border so it enjoys a quieter feel, with wide streets and a sense of architectural grandeur from the Victorian buildings.
With no tricky steps to negotiate, the entrance area leads into the open plan living space which is both comfortable and practical and has delightful views over the gardens. There is a three-seat sofa, armchair, TV with freesat, plus dining table to seat up to four. We think you’ll love the mustard Eames-style chairs!
The kitchen area off the living space is small but well equipped, with oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and plenty of utensils. The washing machine is separately stored, with ironing board and iron.
The master bedroom off the hallway has a kingsize bed, a triple wardrobe, couple of easy chairs, bedside tables, plus an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a double with garden views, and has a double wardrobe.
There is a separate family bathroom with a bath and shower over.
WiFi is provided free of charge, plus crisp linen and fluffy towels. You’ll even find enough tea, coffee and milk for a welcome drink.
Parking is free on-street directly outside the apartment although being located in such a central location means that a car isn’t essential.
The holiday letting is just a few minutes walk from Eastbourne town centre, with its tempting collection of cafes, shops and restaurants. Devonshire Park tennis, Eastbourne theatres and Towner Gallery are within a few minutes stroll, whilst the beach and promenade beckon just moments walk away.
Eastbourne College and the popular English language schools are also within easy reach, as is the Denton Road campus of Brighton University.
We strongly recommend a clifftop walk along Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters and think about heading inalnd into East Dean and Friston with The Tiger Inn a great stop for lunch.

This is a great apartment, it is only a few minutes walk to the town centre and the beach. The interior decoration is nice and brand new. Very comfortable bed as well.
Excellent location. The location was very good for beach and quieter end of Seafront as well as easy walk to shopping centre along sea front and back roads where you find small shops on way.

Perfect for 3 adults and 7 month old baby. We have just returned from a.week in this lovely flat, perfect accommodation with ramp for pushchairs etc. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that 2nd bedroom is along a short corridor so perfect for our daughter’s baby as she was not disturbed during the evening. Location excellent with short walk (5 minutes) from beach, local shops close by and town centre 15 minutes. We found an excellent cafe/restaurant which was particularly baby friendly called Favo’Loso, delicious food and great staff so ended up there most early evenings.
This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday basis in peak season, although flexible arrival days and shorter stays may be possible out of season or last minute.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (the booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
