Understated and elegant, this two-bedroom holiday apartment is ideal for romantic breaks, good old-fashioned seaside holidays and cultural escapes (don’t miss the award-winning Towner Gallery next to the Congress Theatre and also try to fit in a visit to Charleston, the home of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant and base for the Bloomsbury set).

The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV plus an enticing selection of books on the shelves. The dining table seats four comfortably and is the ideal place for planning your next adventure – have we mentioned the vineyards you need to visit? Rathfinny is just down the road in Alfriston and has some fab sparkling wines to sample whilst on a tour of the vineyard.

The kitchen is immaculately presented and comes equipped with appliances such as a Bosch washing machine and separate tumble dryer , dishwasher and fridge-freezer, plus Nespresso coffee machine, milk frother and coffee grinder to ensure you hit your perfect blend. Of course, you will find all the essentials you need for self catering accommodation, such as a toaster, kettle, microwave, hob and oven. There is also a nifty table and chairs at which you can savour your morning coffee hit or kick back with your cornflakes.

The shower room is gleaming and spacious, with a walk-in shower temptingly large enough for two.  Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds and a feeling of calm, with storage and lovely lighting.

The apartment has its own entrance via external stairs and comes with a small, but inviting terrace with table and chairs, ideal for a morning coffee or afternoon tea.  As it is a second floor property, stairs are involved so this would not suit anyone with mobility restrictions.

There is free WiFi and additional bed linen and towels are provided for stays of two weeks or more.  Parking permits are available for on-street parking to cover the immediate area. They cost just £2 per day per car.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or run through the dishwasher before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required. The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
