This is assuming you can pull yourself away from invigorating cliff-top walk along Beachy Head, the Seven Sisters and the South Downs National Park.
Modern holiday apartment in a sought-after location
Think stacks of natural light and an open plan living area. Elegantly furnished, with a large sofa, several armchairs and an appropriately large Smart TV (did we mention Sky Sports?), you won’t know whether to stay indoors to enjoy your holiday apartment or to make the most of Eastbourne.
There is a modern, fully-equipped kitchen including an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine and even an indulgent wine cooler. With bar stools against the generous worktop, there is informal dining for four.
This modern holiday apartment sleeps up to four across the two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom boasts a kingsize bed and a spotless ensuite shower room, while the second bedroom is a double. There is also a family bathroom, with a bath where you can have a lovely soak, so no queuing for the facilities.
Linen and regular towels are provided (bring your own beach towels) with additional linen and towels provided to guests who are staying longer than a week, as with all our holiday apartments Eastbourne. Free WiFi is also available and included.
The train station, with direct links to London, Brighton and Ashford International is less than 10 minute walk away, so a car is far from essential but parking permits are available for just £2 per day (free on Sundays) which allow you to park across a wide-section of Eastbourne.

We stayed at the Playwright whilst having internal building works carried out. The flat is well equipped and spacious and within a 5 min walk to the town centre and minutes from seafront. What is nice is that there are only 6 flats in the block, one per floor so no disturbance from others and even though the lift backs onto the bedroom it is very quiet and again helped by only being a small number of flats. Carl and Sarah were quick to respond when the washing machine leaked and resulted in a new one being delivered a few days later. They kindly arranged for our washing to be laundered in the meantime. Carl and Sarah are always quick to respond to emails or phone calls when applicable. Would have no hesitation in using or recommending Carl and Sarah in the future should the need arise. Thank you.

Carl & Sarah’s apartment is a wonderful apartment, it is very stylish, very well equipped and in a fantastic location (one street to beach front and close to supermarkets, shopping centres and eateries). The communications from Carl & Sarah was also very good, any questions answered quickly and very helpful. There is parking available on the street (and we did not have an issue finding a space) although, so close to the amenities that we didn’t need to use our car much. (we also used the train from Eastbourne to Brighton) which was a great day trip. Permits needed for parking but supplied at a very reasonable price by Carl & Sarah (so would recommend). The apartment itself has everything you could need, kitchenware, glasses etc, plenty seating and dining area, and the beds are super comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here, we just loved Eastbourne, you will not regret it x
We stayed at Carl and Sarah's flat for 2 weeks. The place is beautiful and makes you feel at home. The flat is in a nice place: near the sea, the city centre and good quality cafes. The flat has everything you need, what was important for us, which happens quite rarely, it was very quiet: no outside noise, you can't hear the neighbors or cars. Sarah and Carl were very good hosts, we managed to leave behind on accident a couple of expensive stuff and they concerted us about it straight away. Thank you very much! We highly recommend this flat to everyone!
Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets allowed.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season or last minute.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
