The Sanctuary provides stylish accommodation in a prime location, just off the beach and barely a tennis serve away from the Devonshire Park grass courts (home to the AEGON pre-Wimbledon championship), Congress Theatre, Winter Gardens and Towner contemporary art gallery.
The building was constructed in 2010 and provides an exclusive collection of apartments, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, within a contemporary, iconic design.
With private patio areas in front of the apartment and at the rear, you can chase the sunshine around the property, and there is a sense of privacy and tranquility that rather belies the central Eastbourne location.
Enjoy easy access to the six km stretch of promenade, taking in the pier, bandstand, ice cream parlours and beachside cafes.
As you re-energise you can take in a show at the characterful Devonshire Park Theatre, hit the Arndale shopping center and local shops, or venture up to Beachy Head and the sensational cliff-top walks within the South Downs National Park.

The open plan living area of this holiday apartment is airy, light and tastefully furnished, with a large L-shaped sofa in front of a flatscreen TV beckoning you to relax. There is a dining table to seat four, strategically placed in front of the expansive windows – which view out to your private front patio area – and the modern, fully-equipped kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer and even a wine cooler.
This stylish holiday apartment sleeps up to four across the two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The master bedroom boasts a kingsize bed and an immaculate ensuite shower room, while the second bedroom is a double. Both bedrooms are flooded with natural light thanks to the patio doors which lead out to your private rear terrace. There is a spotless family bathroom, with a bath and shower over, so no queuing for the facilities.
Towels and linen are all provided with a second set provided to guests that are staying longer than a week. Free WiFi is also available and included.
The holiday apartment is based in the heart of theatreland, just off the seafront and moments from cafes, restaurants and independent shops.
The train station is also roughly just a 7-10 minute walk away from the apartment, so a car is far from essential but parking permits are available for just £1 per day (free on Sundays) which allow you to park across a wide-section of Eastbourne.

The sanctuary - lovely place, modern, new, clean, quiet. The hosts were excellent and totally looked after me before and during my check-in and of course at check out. Really nice people who were only too happy to help.
The Sanctuary is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is the perfect place for guests wanting to enjoy the seafront or attractions throughout the town. It is within easy walking distance of the train station for trips to London or other attractions. The street is very quiet at night so the location is peaceful and relaxing. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this location.

It is close to the seafront and within easy walking distance from many local attractions as well as the train station for longer excursions. The Sanctuary is modern and has all the amenities required for a relaxing stay. Two bathrooms make it ideal for a family or two couples.
An extremely comfortable and well equipped apartment close to the beach and the center of Eastbourne. Calm & relaxing décor helps you to forget you are so close to shops, theatres, cafes and bars. Amazingly quiet - no street noise at all. All the letting agency staff we met and spoke to were friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend this apartment.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
