Set on the first floor (so stairs are involved), Thorne Lodge has an open-plan living space which is tastefully appointed, yet comfortable and practical. After a busy day having fun, you can relax on the sofa or an armchair in front of the flatscreen Smart TV, with access to BBC iPlayer, Netfix and other streaming apps so don’t forget your passwords. Or if your child has a favourite film, there’s a DVD player to pop it into.

The spacious master bedroom can be set up as a kingsize or with twin beds, as preferred.  This room has a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage.   The second bedroom has a single bed.

The kitchen offers a hob and oven, microwave, fridge and the utensils and you’ll need for self catering holidays. There is also a small washing machine available plus iron, ironing board and hair dryer.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower over.   WiFi is provided free of charge, plus crisp white linen and fluffy towels (bring your beach towels).   You’ll even find enough tea, coffee and milk for a welcome drink, plus complementary toiletries to get you started in this Eastbourne holiday let.

Parking is on street and we can provide daily parking permits (ask us for up-to-date rates and arrange in advance and we can have them there waiting for you on arrival).  However, being located in such a central location and close to Eastbourne train station means a car is not essential.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
