We can heartily recommend a visit to the South Downs National Park – how about invigorating cliff-top walks and spectacular views – or take in the many historic sites within very easy reach such as Pevensey and Battle (William the Conqueror landed at Pevensey Bay about a mile away, to change the course of English history in 1066).
The cafes, restaurants and cinema in Sovereign Harbour are literally a short stroll away along the harbour edge. Eastbourne, with four theatres, art gallery, shopping and broader facilities is walkable along the promenade (about an hour’s walk – with a handy, halfway pit-stop available at the Beach Deck cafe!) or just ten minutes in the car.

This immaculate holiday apartment has been fully refurbished throughout by thoughtful owners, with real attention to detail and a high quality finish. As seasoned travellers, they recognise what is appreciated by guests who are looking for a step up from everyday holiday flats.
The second floor setting provides lovely views from the balcony of a fascinating variety of swanky cruisers, yachts and fishing boats. There is a lift available if you don’t fancy the stairs up; you’re on holiday after all and can save your energy for sight-seeing. This also helps if you’re looking for accessible accommodation.
Everything inside is modern, tasteful and comfortable. The lounge area is calm and relaxing, with a huge leather sofa, comfy armchair and TV, plus DVD player. A flame-effect fire will provide atmosphere or a blast of heat when required, and there is a dining table to seat four.
The separate kitchen is very well equipped, with appliances including a washer dryer, hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, combi-microwave and Nespresso coffee machine, plus all the utensils you will need for a comfortable break.
This flexible holiday letting can sleep up to four people and suits families or two couples sharing. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom can be set up as a kingsize or with twin beds if preferred. Both bedrooms have comfy, quality mattresses and stacks of sea air will set you up for a great night’s sleep.
There is a separate family bathroom in this Eastbourne holiday rental with a bath and shower over – ideal for nice long soak after a busy day.
All linen and towels are provided, with additional linen supplied for stays of more than a week as with all our Sovereign Harbour holiday apartments. Free WiFi is provided and there is also an allocated underground parking space and visitor spaces available.
Bookings have a week long minimum stay and run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season or last minute.

This is a lovely apartment, very comfortable and well furnished with the all-important feature of a super king size and comfortable bed. It was in a very quiet location with views over the harbour.
Great stay, great location. Great communication with holiday company. Everything you need was in the holiday home which was spotless. Close to marina restaurants and shops and cinema all in walking distance. We will be back.

There is a week-long minimum stay, with Friday changeovers in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season or last minute.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
