With three spacious bedrooms this self catering holiday home can provide the perfect base from which to explore the south coast, including Eastbourne, with the delightful promenade along the beach and seafront, its four theatres and award-winning Towner Gallery (hosting this year’s Turner prize). Brighton is just along the coast with a huge selection of cafes, restaurants and cafes, as is St Leonards and Hastings which is a vibrant, creative home for artists and digital nomads.
Captain’s View is brand new to our portfolio so be quick to book dates before the calendar inevitably fills up, especially over sought-after dates such as for Eastbourne Tennis in June and Airbourne in August.
This Airbnb Sovereign Harbour is a modern holiday home set over three floors to create lots of space for everyone to spread out for relaxation and holiday vibes.
You can take in the relaxing water views from your own private garden terrace and from the first floor lounge and two rear bedrooms on the second floor.
Head up to the first floor for the lounge which enjoys stacks of natural light thanks for the French doors which lead out on to your private balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the boats and water of the inner quay.
There are two comfy sofas and a foot stool – imagine relaxing in front of the Smart TV, catching up on all the Netflix’ series you’ve been meaning to watch!
The accommodation is extremely flexible with a kingsize bed in the master bedroom overlooking the marina at the rear of the house – and no need to worry about minimising your packing as there is whole wall of wardrobes, plus an ensuite shower room. The master bedroom also has a Smart TV so no need to fight over the TV remote.
The second bedroom has a super-kingsize bed (which can be split into two single beds) on the same top floor at the front of the house. The third bedroom on the middle (first) floor has a kingsize bed (which can also be split into two single beds). So there is maximum of five separate beds for friends or family who would rather not share a bed or perhaps for colleagues working on a local project.
The dining kitchen on the ground floor is just what you expect from an top-notch Airbnb Sovereign Harbour – well equipped for self catering accommodation, with an oven, hob, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a dining table. Coffee lovers will appreciate the Dolce Gusto machine (pods available at supermarkets).
Patio doors lead from the kitchen to your private garden terrace, complete with outdoor dining set and furniture, where you can soak up the nautical vibes taking in the views of all the boats and life on the water.
There is also a family bathroom (with a bath and shower over the bath) on the top and also a ground floor cloakroom.

The Small Print
This property may accept a small adult dog on a selective basis (supplement applies). Smoking is not permitted. No parties. Minimum age of lead guest is 25+
There is a week-long minimum stay, with Saturday changeovers in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season or last minute.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
