Darley Meads is a spacious, two bedroom raised ground floor holiday apartment in the sought-after Meads area of Eastbourne. It is just minutes from the beach, university and schools such as Bedes, St Andrews and Eastbourne College.

The holiday apartment is lovingly presented and set in a characterful, well-maintained building on a leafy street which is adjacent to the seafront .
It is ideally located for those visiting St Bede’s, St Andrew’s & Roedean Moira House Schools. Meads village shops, cafes and pubs are just 5 minutes away, yet it is also just a 15 minute walk from central Eastbourne and the theatres.
Enjoy a calming atmosphere thanks to the high ceilings and the big bay windows in the living room, which has comfy sofas, a large TV and a dining table and chairs set to enjoy garden views.
The two bedrooms sleep up to four people in comfort with views over the greenery of the rear gardens. One bedroom has a kingsize bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds and also has an ensuite shower room.
There is also a separate utility room which has a toilet and washing machine.
There is a stylish galley kitchen with all the practical elements for a self-catering holiday including fridge-freezer, oven/hob, toaster, and dishwasher – plus plenty of pots, pans, cafetiere and utensils.

Meads High Street is an easy 5 minute walk away, with its independent shops, pub and cafes, whilst Eastbourne Pier in Eastbourne is only a 15-minute stroll away. The theatres, cafes, shops and restaurants of the town centre are also just 10 minutes walk away, you’ll struggle to find a better placed holiday apartment in Meads.
Beachy Head, the Seven Sister and South Downs National Park, with clifftop walks, fossil-hunting and kite-flying opportunities aplenty are less than a mile away and a must-visit for all fresh-air enthusiasts.
All linen and towels are provided, with additional linen supplied for stays or more than a week. Free WiFi is available, plus there is ample free on-street car parking directly outside.

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted within the apartment.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in the busy holiday periods, but there may be flexibility at short notice or at other times of the year. Short stays are also considered out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
