Set in an imposing 1890s building that was formerly a ‘school for gentleman’, this tasteful Eastbourne two bedroom holiday apartment is airy and light with a bohemian feel.
Kent House is just off the seafront, close to Meads village shops and amenities. Eastbourne‘s theatres are 15 minutes walk away, with the main town centre just five minutes further.
The lounge/dining room is flooded with natural light and has Sky TV, WiFi and a DVD player, plenty of comfortable seating, and a large dining table with chairs. The galley kitchen is well kitted out for an Eastbourne self catering holiday including a fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and cooking utensils. A washer dryer is housed in a cupboard off the kitchen.
The master bedroom has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe and plenty of storage for clothes in decorative chests of drawers. The second bedroom is spacious and set up permanently as a twin, but with the option of converting a chairbed for families of five.
The family bathroom has a bath with shower over.

Outside you can enjoy a beautiful communal lawned area and there is also a terraced spot where you can set up a table and chairs if you fancy eating al fresco. You will have an unallocated parking space in the building grounds, plus there is plenty of free, unrestricted parking in the street.
Children will love the location close to the rock pools near Holywell, ready to discover star fish, crabs and fish. Being just off the seafront in Meads also provides the perfect location to explore the cliff-top walks and sensation scenery around Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters in the South Downs National Park, or to head inland to East Dean and Friston.

Peaceful spacious accommodation. Situated in pleasant Meads area and approximately 20 minutes from Railway Station and town, if you walk only part of the way is flat. Plenty to see (the sea) from the end of the road with many wooden benches. Spacious airy ground floor apartment with free parking. The area is not really suitable for wheel chair users - due to the steep roads and uneven Victorian cobbles on the side roads. Couple of local shops for basic needs
This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
