Stone’s Throw is a bright, vibrant and spacious apartment, it is one of our premium new holiday rentals and is situated in the charming Meads district of Eastbourne. This 2-bedroom property has been completely renovated to offer modern and comfortable living.
Meads is situated between the Eastbourne seafront and the foot of the South Downs, and is filled with independent shops and two of Eastbourne’s finest pubs where both present fantastic lunch menus.
This apartment is literally a ‘stone’s throw’ from the nearest beach, just step out your door and you’ll be able to smell the coastal breeze. Eastbourne promenade stretches for 6 miles offering many places to explore, including Eastbourne’s historic pier (built back in 1870), The Bandstand where live musicians play on many a summers evening, The Redoubt Fortress which was originally built to defend against Napoleon in 1805, and our favourite has to be… Favoloso ice-cream parlour, this is the place to go for the best Sundaes in town.
You are also just a 5 minute stroll into central Eastbourne where you will find the brand new Beacon shopping centre, some delightful cafes and the most mouth-watering restaurants with choice from a wide variety of cuisines.
The property can be accessed from the front or the rear with its own private entrance and two large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size double and a triple wardrobe, while the second bedroom has a flexible setup and can be made with two single beds or as a super-king double.
The floor plan has a nice flow to it with a wrap around kitchen and living area, everyone can be within close proximity while still enjoying different activities throughout the day.The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, cooking utensils and all the cutlery you will need. The living area has a Smart T.V where you can access Netflix and other online applications (your own accounts are required).
The bathroom has a bath with shower over meaning you can enjoy the comforts of both options with an additional separate cloakroom across the hall.
Free WiFi is included with this property as well as all towels and linen but please bring your own beach/swimming towels, a second set will be supplied for stays longer than a week.
Parking permits can be purchased for £1 a day, however the train station is only a 10 – 15 minute walk and there is free roadside parking nearby.

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or in any of the communal gardens or areas.
There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, with bookings running from Sunday-to-Sunday, although short stays and flexible arrival days may be possible last minute and out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
