Imagine enjoying your breakfast on your private terrace and decking, with the warmth of the sun on your cheeks, taking in the views over the marina watching the many boats coming and going through the two busy locks.
This prime corner location of this sought-after Sovereign Harbour apartment provides the privacy, the views and the outside space that can transform an escape from busy lives into a truly memorable holiday.
You can take in the mesmerising views from your terrace and also from within your holiday apartment. French doors lead out from the living area onto the decking. There is also a window from the dining area overlooking the visitor berths in the marina.
There is a comforting feel to this Sovereign Harbour holiday let – a sumptuous sofa and two armchairs in which to retreat after a beach stroll or to take the weight after a lengthy lunch at one of the tempting cafes and restaurants just a five minute walk along the water at the Waterfront. If you eat in, the dining table can fit up to six if you invite guests to join you for dinner. Sit, with a glass of wine, and watch the boats come and go as you dine.
The two spacious bedrooms offer comfortable accommodation for up to four people. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room (with a small step into the shower) whilst the second bedroom has two single beds making this very flexible accommodation for families, friends and corporate rentals.
There is a separate family bathroom with a bath across the hall.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, with a full size fridge-freezer, gas hob, oven, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine (so bring some pods for a caffeine hit in preparation for your day’s adventures). The kitchen is equipped with all the crockery and equipment you’ll need for your time away.
Your private terrace has a table with four chairs – all of which will inevitably be facing the marina which offers ever-changing and always beguiling views of sailboats, fishing boats and cruisers coming and going. You may even see the RNLI Lifeboat head out on a shout.
Free WiFi is provided and there is also an allocated space in the secure car park underneath the property, with additional parking freely available on the road outside. There is a lift from the underground car park to the apartment floor to avoid the steps into the building. Access to the marina front is also accessible down a few steps from the communal front door.

We had an absolutely wonderful six-night stay at the Exclusively Holiday Homes apartment at Madeira Way in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the location felt perfect. The apartment is right on the waterfront in the vibrant Sovereign Harbour marina area, with stunning views over the water that we enjoyed every single day. Whether we were having morning coffee on the balcony or unwinding in the evening, the peaceful harbour setting and the gentle activity of boats made it incredibly relaxing. It's just a short stroll to the excellent selection of restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops around the marina, so we never had to go far for a great meal or a casual drink. The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and beautifully presented. It felt like a real home away from home — bright and airy, with comfortable furnishings and a thoughtful layout that made our stay effortless. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, which we did a few times to enjoy the views while dining in. The bedrooms were cosy and quiet, ensuring a great night’s sleep after long days exploring. We particularly appreciated the little touches that made the difference: fast free WiFi, plenty of towels and linen, and convenient allocated parking (a real bonus in a popular spot like this). Sovereign Harbour itself is a fantastic base — we loved walking along the seafront, visiting the nearby beaches, and taking easy day trips into Eastbourne town centre and beyond. The whole area has a lovely relaxed vibe that suited our break perfectly. The team at Exclusively Holiday Homes were responsive and helpful throughout, from booking to check-out, which added to the stress-free experience. We left feeling thoroughly refreshed and already talking about when we can return.

The Small Print
Minimum age of lead guest is 25+. This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted. No parties.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
