Large houses to rent in Sussex for group accommodation
Here at Exclusively Eastbourne, we pride ourselves on unearthing extraordinary holiday accommodation in the very best locations, including our large houses to rent in Sussex.
Wellington Quay is an outstanding waterfront holiday home, ideal for extended families and friends looking for luxury holiday cottages. This upmarket group accommodation in Sovereign Harbour has a private berth and jetty, and fabulous views across the marina (please let us know in advance if you wish to bring your boat!).
The holiday home is arguably the finest available in Sovereign Harbour (winning a Unique Holiday Cottages Group Getaway Award), and enjoys a south-facing position from which to enjoy the private terraces and gardens. Imagine soaking up rays on the private decks during the summer months, or watching the boats from the conservatory.
The cafes, restaurants and shops in Sovereign Harbour are an easy stroll away. Eastbourne is just an hour’s walk along the promenade or a quick 10 minute drive. There are many historical sites just a short trip away, including Pevensey and Bodium Castles. The village of Battle, hugely significant in English history, is around 20 minutes away (take a tour around the battlefield!).
Amazing Waterfront Property. Wow this place is amazing, we did not want to leave at the end of the week. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, stunning views, private, well-equipped! We were two families, 4 adults and 3 kids we wanted a larger property so that we could spread out. This place did not disappoint. We hardly used the lounge and the dining room although lovely spaces, we mostly enjoyed the decking area outside, conservatory and the kitchen. We cooked most days, there is practically everything in the kitchen you'll need to make all meals, the two fridges came in handy as well. The shops are within walking distance, super convenient. We didn't go to any of the waterfront restaurants, but we did get an Indian takeaway from Ganges which was pretty good! We explored the surrounding areas, liked Knockhatch Adventure Park, Pirate Crazy Golf, Eastbourne Pier and Ferris Wheel. Hastings isn't that far away either. For a great Sunday roast try The Pilot Inn and also The Beach Kitchen for something more casual. We also booked a local fisherman to take the kids fishing, he even dropped us off at the private jetty after. We were very sad to leave on our last day, but would very happily return to Wellington Quay in the future. Exclusively Eastbourne were also super helpful and responsive.Yasmin Koval null
