Meads Village with its well-heeled shops, pubs and amenities is close by, and the beach, theatres and wider attractions of Eastbourne are just a short walk away. It is a fantastic choice for those visiting the schools of St Andrews, Bedes and Eastbourne College or indeed anyone who enjoys access to wonderful scenery in the UK’s sunniest spot!
Central Eastbourne is just a 10 minute stroll away, with four theatres and the award-winning Towner contemporary art centre, providing a vibrant cultural backdrop. The beach and promenade are also very close by making this a wonderful holiday home in Eastbourne for families and friends.

Wir, Familienmitglieder drei Personen, haben unseren Aufenthalt in Littledale Haven sehr genossen. Der Check- in war per Email von der Gastgebern gut beschrieben und verlief reibungslos. Die Ausstattung war insgesamt sehr gut und reichlich, alles da - von prima Küchengeräten (ok, die Pfannen waren etwas älter..) bis hin zu Waschmaschine/ Trockner, Sauna etc. Die Wohnung liegt im Souterrain, schön hell mit großen Fenstern und ist über einen kleinen Weg, der sich darum schlängelt, zu erreichen. Nicht barrierefrei. Alles ist sehr gemütlich und etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch weitgehend gut gepflegt und sauber. Durch die Lage ist sind die vorderen Schlafräume (in einem davon kann man kein Fenster öffnen) ein ganz klein wenig muffig, was man dort mit einer Art Klimaanlage/ Lüftung im Hausflur bekämpft.Zwei Bäder machen die Situation komfortabel und es empfiehlt sich, alles was die Gastgeber zum Check- in vorher schreiben und den Leitfaden in der Wohnung gut zu lesen, damit man weiß, wie alles funktioniert, z.B. was beim Duschen zu beachten ist! Die Gastfamilie ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und sie reagieren immer sofort, wenn man eine Frage hat oder etwas braucht. Top!!!Viele Dank für den schönen Urlaub :-)) Arrival date: Sat, 26 Jul We, a family of three, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Littledale Haven. Check-in was well described by the hosts via email and went smoothly. The amenities were generally very good and plentiful, with everything – from excellent kitchen appliances (okay, the pans were a bit old...) to a washer/dryer, sauna, etc. The apartment is located in the basement, beautifully bright with large windows, and is accessed via a small path that winds around it. It's not wheelchair accessible. Everything is very cozy and a bit dated, yet largely well-maintained and clean. Due to the location, the front bedrooms (one of which has no window opening) are a bit musty, which is counteracted by a kind of air conditioning/ventilation system in the hallway. Two bathrooms make the situation comfortable, and it's recommended to read everything the hosts write about check-in beforehand and the apartment's guide carefully so you know how everything works, for example, what to keep in mind when showering! The host family is extremely friendly and helpful, and they always respond immediately if you have a question or need anything. Great! Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation :-))

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
