East Dean holiday cottage with a magnificent setting
Green Pastures cottage sits on a hillside overlooking an extremely well maintained green. This South Downs Way accommodation boasts private gardens to the front and back of the property from which to enjoy delightful views over the green, hills, Belle Tout lighthouse and far out over the sea.
East Dean provides the perfect passageway to all the wonders of the South Downs National Park. You can stroll through Friston Forest, visit the wild and rugged bay at Birling Gap and you should definitely not miss a trip to the famous white cliffs of Beachy Head and The Seven Sisters.
East Dean itself is full of village appeal and includes The Tiger Inn, a sophisticated country pub that offers tasty pub classics and a selection of fine wines and Sussex ales. You’ll also find a smattering of shops, such as a deli, grocery store, newsagent and a hairdressers.
This property and location are fantastic. I stayed with my family and dogs. We had a great time and would recommend it. Communication and arrangements before staying at the property were also very helpful.Dominic Stevens null

The Small Print
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short breaks may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
