This brand-new, elegantly furnished annexe to a larger house provides a delightful one-bedroom holiday home, designed for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers seeking comfort, tranquility, and inspiring scenery. With easy access to open countryside, sheep-grazed fields, and stunning routes leading to Belle Tout Lighthouse and the dramatic Seven Sisters coastline, Hikers’ Retreat truly is the ideal walkers retreat.
Private garden oasis
Access to the beautiful, private garden and annexe is through a private gate, and the green space provides a delightful backdrop from the lounge, bedroom and kitchen. Outside in this peaceful outdoor haven is a delightful fish pond and outdoor seating – imagine enjoying your morning coffee and evening drinks as the sun sets. The garden provides a quiet and restorative space full of birdsong and fresh country air and a summer house provides a useful spot to store bikes if you’re on a cycling break.
Inside, the light, relaxing and inviting living room features a two-seater sofa, comfy armchair and dining table for two. Patio doors give fabulous views into the garden; an ideal spot to rest, read, or enjoy a meal after exploring the South Downs.
The fully equipped and spotless modern kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, fridge freezer, oven & induction hob – you can take in leafy garden views as you prepare meals and washing up never felt so good!
Enjoy complete comfort in the spacious bedroom, featuring a plush king-size bed and calming views across the private garden. A serene, peaceful space perfect for unwinding after a day on the trails. The immaculate, contemporary bathroom features a large walk-in shower and high-quality fittings and decadent touches such as aromatic toiletries.

The Small Print
This property does not accept pets. Non smoking adults aged 18 and over only. Smoking is not permitted in the property or grounds.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
