The 40th anniversary for the Eastbourne internation tennis at Devonshire Park proved to be a bumper year, with record numbers attending to watch the stellar line-up on what many believe to be the finest grass courts on the circuit (even better than Wimbledon – just ask Martina Navratilova!).
Our regulars enjoyed the warm weather, unbroken play and the heartening progress of Heather Watson through to the semis (albeit with a walk-through in the quarter final with Petra Kvitova injured).
It’s always a joy to see familiar faces back to enjoy our accommodation in Eastbourne, much of it within a weighted lob of centre court and even better to catch them at the end of the week, sun-kissed and relaxed, and already looking forward to next year.

Fingers crossed for another summer filled with sunshine, but at least you can be confident that on the days when you prefer to stay indoors, you’ll want to stay indoors!
