Eastbourne holiday cottage in tranquil Old Town

With the blissful combination of beaches and the rolling hills of the South Downs, holidays in Eastbourne, East Sussex can be an intoxicating affair.

Vicarage Cottage is a delightful Victorian  townhouse in the Old Town area of Eastbourne, just a short distance from the town centre and just over a mile from the seafront and the iconic Victorian pier and Eastbourne Bandstand.

Immaculately refurbished and transformed, the cottages makes an ideal holiday rental in Sussex, with charm, style and  atmosphere and is beautifully presented accommodation.

The Old Town Eastbourne area is peppered with independent shops, historic churches and pubs (check out the roaring log fires at the 12th Century Lamb Inn and majestic St Mary’s church, also from the 12th Century). You can play free tennis in Gildredge Park, pop into Waitrose, feed the ducks in Motcombe Gardens or enjoy the homecooked pizzas at Picasso Express (you might tell that we love Old Town Eastbourne – we live and work here!).

The cottage is surrounded by a fascinating mix of historic sites, coastal and clifftop walks on the South Downs National Park, country pubs and idyllic villages such as East Dean and Friston.

Vicarage Cottage makes a perfect base for families or friends to stay on holiday together and is of a sufficiently high standard to satisfy the most demanding tastes for corporate accommodation, and comes packed with facilities for longer stays or those in need of temporary accommodation (you might have the builders in, for example).

Central Eastbourne is an easy stroll away as is the beach and all the other attractions such as Congress and Devonshire Park theatres, the unmissable and award-winning Towner Gallery and both Royal Eastbourne and Willingdon golf clubs.
