Skip to the Beach holiday home!

Family friendly holiday accommodation needs to offer space. For everyone, especially if you need to hide from the little ones occasionally (can I admit to that as a father?!). And easy access to a beach, plus a private garden, preferably with a gate so you head home with the same number of children as you arrived with. I might be getting choosy now, but how about lots of natural light, and some outside dining space and maybe even a BBQ?

Skip to the Beach ticks a LOT of boxes if you are looking for a traditional family holiday, close to the beach and with seagulls in the salty air. Just add  multi-coloured wind-breaks, sandy sandwiches and knobbly knees for a staycation to remember.

This spacious holiday home is ideal for families or friends seeking a refreshing break in a timeless location. Pevensey Bay enjoys what feels like an endless beach, and despite being only a short drive from both Eastbourne and Bexhill (you’re practically in the middle of the two towns), you feel a million miles away from busy, urban lives.

You can enjoy the handsome detached house as you drive in to the off road parking.  It has been extended at the back to create a relaxing dining area and additional lounge – from which you can take in the substantial private garden. Take drinks on the patio, fire up the BBQ and chill out on one of the two outdoor dining sets. Well, you’re on holiday!

The kitchen has an island with stools and is well equipped, with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob, toaster and dishwasher. The washing machine and an extra fridge can be found in the utility area just off the kitchen.

The downstairs living area has been opened up to offer two sections with lots of comfortable seating and a TV complete with Sky Q box, which has access to internet based viewing options (don’t forget your Netflix log in).  There is also a DVD player if you want to bring along your favourite films and if you can’t agree what to watch, there is a second Smart TV in the dining conservatory.

There is a downstairs shower room with toilet.

Reviews

We had a great stay in this beautiful house over my 60th Birthday with our Daughter , son in law and their 2 dogs . The communication from Carl and Sarah was really good from the start of the booking process with clear instructions and details about the house and with responses to any questions we had. The info booklet was very good idea and explained all about the house , what to do in case of a problem and details about the local area . The house is just a very short walk from the beach and the dogs loved their morning walks there. A really relaxing and comfortable stay , highly recommended. June 2024

The Small Print

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short breaks may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £500 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
