Located on Coast Road, one of the most enviable streets in Sussex, this three-bedroom beach house offers it all. As you step into the open plan living room you will be checking your eyes to make sure you aren’t dreaming, a simply stunning view through the glass fronted cottage captures the crashing waves and your very own private beach garden.
Heading outside and onto the decking you will be able to catch the entire day’s sun – whether you are sun bathing, dining alfresco or enjoying the 10 metres of private beach.
The coastline stretches for miles and you can follow it all the way through Eastbourne and to the start of The South Downs and Beachy Head. You will find it hard to come by a better location for an amazing English beach holiday.
Pevensey Bay is a quiet little town just outside of Eastbourne but it has a wonderful community, a selection of great cafes and restaurants and a grocery store to stock up for some home cooking. Eastbourne can be reached in just 15 minutes by car and about the same if you are heading to Bexhill.
Stunning Pevensey Bay Beach Retreat
Not only does this lovely cottage have the perfect setting, this magnificent holiday home is also extremely well presented throughout. As you walk through the cottage you will notice the attention to detail and how each room has its own subtle style that really makes you feel at home.
The open plan living area is the perfect place to spend time socialising with family and friends. At the top end of the room a large L-shaped sofa offers a great place to get lost in a book or enjoy a movie as you unwind in front of the TV (with DVD player). Down the other end of the room is a well equipped kitchen with island with breakfast bar and a dining table to seat eight. With gorgeous views of the English Channel as you prepare your meals, you might be surprised to find your partner or kids helping out more than ever before. With an added touch of luxury, a beautiful piano finishes this room. It sits next to the patio window where you can impress the family as you play an evening tune.
There are three bedrooms within the property sleeping a total of eight guests. The master bedroom is a charming king-size room that has its own private balcony looking out over Pevensey – a lovely spot for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is a twin room with two full sized single beds and a quadruple room that has two full sized bunk beds. The family bathroom has a clean, modern design and has a bath with shower over.
All linen and regular towels are provided (bring your own beach/swimming towels) and for stays longer than a week additional linen will be supplied. There is off road parking for up to two vehicles at the front of the property and free WiFi throughout. Short breaks of three nights or more may be possible last minute or out of season.

We loved our stay at the beach retreat and didn’t want to leave - in fact, rather than going off to explore or visit family we found ourselves wanting to stay home! And they loved visiting us and enjoying the quiet beach and a swim in the sea. The house and view is even nicer than the pictures and we’ll definitely be planning another stay.
Really lovely property right on the beach, perfect for families with enough room for extended family or small groups too. Fantastic amenities, high quality decor and very comfy beds. Space for parking too. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Fabulous setting, very comfortable accommodation
A lovely bright beach house with wonderful views of the shingle shore. A very enjoyable stay with great weather. We swam and kayaked every day. The beach is very safe for children. There is a corner shop very close which was very convenient. Lots to do and see nearby.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted in this property.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
