Stylish self catering holiday cottage
Old Town Cottage makes an ideal self catering holiday cottage in Eastbourne, set in a pretty Victorian terrace and yet modern, cosy and practical.
Base yourself in Eastbourne’s atmospheric Old Town area and live like a local in this friendly community (be prepared, people are likely to say ‘hello’ and smile!), peppered with historic sites such as the 12th Century St Mary’s Church, pretty Motcombe Gardenswith its wildlife pond and Gildredge Park with free tennis courts, skate park and probably the best homemade cakes in town at the Love All cafe. There is also a Waitrose supermarket moments away and The Lamb and The Rainbow pubs for pints and hearty food.
Old Town is only about a 15-minute walk from Eastbourne town centre, seafront and train centre, but feels relaxed and tranquil.
This self catering holiday cottage has been lovingly renovated and updated to provide an excellent holiday base for families and friends looking for a holiday escape to the south coast of England.
The cottage feels spacious, with open-plan lounge and dining areas which lead into the modern kitchen.
The L-shaped sofa is comfortable to rest any walked-out and weary limbs after a day’s adventures in front of the Smart TV, so no need to miss out on Netflix or BBC entertainment.
There is a dining table that seats up to four.
The kitchen is stylish yet practical, with a oven, 2-ring ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, and washing machine as well as a Nespresso machine for coffee lovers. There are also all the utensils you need for self catering holidays.
The cottage sleeps up to three adults or a family of two adults and two children, with the master offering a kingsize bed and the second bedroom a small double bed.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with views of St Mary’s Church.

Reviews
Beautiful, impeccable, cozy cottage. It was meticulous when we arrived, perfect space for 2 people, lovely back garden, great WiFi for working. A quiet, peaceful street. Parking can be slightly challenging, but we made it work. Incredible location! The hosts were so helpful and all instructions were perfectly clear. The welcome card and chocolates was such a lovely touch and there were little decorative items that really made the difference in setting this cottage apart with its warmth and inviting nature. Highly recommend! Arrival date: Sun 23 Aug
