And if picking up a pen to draft your next novel or watercolours to capture the beautiful landscapes isn’t your bag, then we’re sure that you can still enjoy the lively atmosphere of this more eclectic part of town.
Head to Kings Road for designer sunglasses, a snip at the barber’s, a glass of wine al fresco or a bite to eat at one of the funky pavement cafes. Wander towards the sea and hit Norman Road, where you can take in a film at the independent cinema, pick up treats from the delicious deli, browse the antique stores or hit the oyster bar.
The seafront is only five minutes walk from this well located holiday rental and with St Leonards Warrier Square train station literally two minutes away on foot, there is no need to bring a car on your seaside getaway. Regular trains make it easy to visit places including Eastbourne, Brighton, London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.
I stayed at The Artists Loft as an interim between my house completions, initially for a week. Unfortunately I contracted Covid half way through my stay & I am so thankful at how understanding Carl and Sarah were. My stay was extended and I was very much looked after, thank you! I was welcomed on check in with a super cute basket of goodies which was a lovely touch. And so, the space! Well what a cosy, comfortable & stylish home from home. Everything about the decor and design has been thought of & I was super comfortable. The bed is AMAZING! The bathroom is stunning with lovely roof top views & you may even catch sunrise if you’re up early enough! I loved having a cuppa on the chaise in the bedroom where I could look out to sea. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. There is an incredible selection of books, games, & CD’s to enjoy which I really loved. Once I was able to get out & about I really enjoyed the location - just a few minutes walk & you’re on the Kings Road or sea front. The Small Print
Smoking is not permitted in this property. No pets permitted. Minimum age of lead guest 25+.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
