There is nothing quite like the sound of the waves and an outlook over the horizon to help you unwind from the stresses and strains of modern life. On warm days, you can soak up this therapeutic sea scene from your balcony or while lounging in your beach garden. On winter days, simply close the sliding doors, light up your log burner and gaze at the crashing waves from the cosy comfort of your well-appointed lounge.
This Pevensey Bay beach house is a fabulous year-round holiday destination for families, friends or work colleagues. Each of its three bedrooms has a kingsize bed and a TV, so there are no short straws for anyone who likes to sprawl or escape for a bit of privacy.
The bedrooms are on the ground floor, along with a contemporary shower room, with the open-plan living space (and a second bathroom) upstairs to make the most of the spectacular views.
The modern kitchen is well equipped for a relaxed self catering break, including a dishwasher, twin ovens, microwave, wine cooler and a Nespresso coffee machine plus Nespresso milk frother (so don’t forget your pods). A washing machine and separate tumble dryer are housed in a utility cupboard in the upstairs bathroom.
A dining table to seat six is set at the centre of the room, with the lounge area at the front providing the perfect spot to absorb the vista. A wall of glass provides uninterrupted views of the garden, beach and sea beyond or you can slide open the doors to step out on to your balcony and breathe in the sea air.

A large, L-shaped leather sofa gives plenty of space for relaxing in front of the view or smart TV, and two eye-catching orange swivel armchairs provide the perfect reading nook by the log burner. There is even a large telescope on hand if you’re a bit of a star gazer or you want a closer look at the boats passing by. If you do have a favourite DVD with you, two of the bedrooms boast DVD players.
Outside, a handy storage shed just before the beach garden houses lots of cushions for the garden furniture, a BBQ and a drinks fridge. And in late afternoon, you’ll find the sun makes its way to the enclosed patio at the rear of this Pevensey Bay beach house, which is complete with outdoor dining table and chairs.
A well behaved adult dog which has been spayed / neutered might be considered, so this is a great spot for dog friendly beach holidays. Please ask about our selective dog friendly policy (a £50 supplement per dog applies). WiFi is provided, plus all towels and linen but please bring your own towels for swimming or the beach. There is parking in front of the house and garden for up to two vehicles.
Assuming that you can be drawn away from your garden and the beach at some point, Pevensey High Street is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stop for Eastbourne, Bexhill and beyond is just three minutes walk away and the train station just 15 minutes, so this property is perfect for those needing easy transport links.
For those wishing to explore by foot, head along the beach for Cooden to the East and Sovereign Harbour and Eastbourne to the West or cross the meadows and fields of Pevensey Levels to the North to explore Pevensey Castle. This area, as a Site of Special Scientific Interest lies just inland, and is packed with bird life, rare insects and plants. For keen ramblers, the South Downs National Park is just a short drive or bus trip away.
This lovely beach-facing property is part of a characterful row of terraced properties on a private road. Parties are not permitted and guests are asked to respect the tranquility of this lovely location (and neighbours!) and keep noise low when they are relaxing on the glorious balcony or in the garden.

Don't Hesitate - Just Book it! Impressive property, set in a quiet location, and is well maintained and equipped with modern bathrooms and kitchen. All rooms in good order and recently decorated (June 2019). Living area with wide sliding doors opens onto a full sized balcony giving views across the private beach garden and then directly over the sea. Shed in the garden has a full height drinks chiller and barbecue so no excuse for going hungry or thirsty. Ample parking for 2 large cars / SUV at the front of the property: also includes a secluded rear garden / patio if you can tear yourself away from view at the front. Thoroughly recommended.

Größtes Highlight der Garten am Strand , luxuriös möbliert ,gemütlich, mit Barbecue, Haeuschen zum wechseln der Badekleidung, Kühlschrank sehr hilfreich. Fuer uns perfekt, sofort neu gebucht. There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short breaks may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the cottage.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent. Strictly no smoking throughout the house.
