As soon as you step outside the door you are only a few steps away from the stunning southern coastline and glorious 6 mile stretch of Eastbourne promenade. The promenade leads past the historical pier (originally opened in June 1870) and all the way to the foot of the South Downs. The Downs are home to the famous white cliffs of Beachy Head, seen in such movies as Harry Potter, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and even James Bond 007.
You are also perfectly placed to enjoy central Eastbourne with the town centre, Devonshire Park Theatre and Tennis Centre all just a few hundred yards away. Eastbourne has just enjoyed a multi-million pound renovation with the new three story Beacon shopping centre that includes new restaurants and an 8-screen cinema.

This wonderful apartment is spacious throughout and benefits from underfloor heating that will keep your toes warm even when visiting in the winter months.
The bedroom has a king-size bed and a built in wardrobe with plenty of space, you won’t have to live out of your suitcase on this holiday meaning you can fully relax in the apartment.
The kitchen is setup perfectly for a self catering break, it’s fully equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and an array of cooking utensils.
The large living/dining area has a comfy L-shaped sofa and dining table to comfortably seat 4. There is a TV and DVD player in the lounge area perfect for those cosy nights in.
The bathroom allows you to fully unwind after a long day with the option of either a relaxing shower or a long soak in the bath.
All linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach/swimming towels) and for stays longer than a week a second set will be supplied, parking permits can be purchased at £2 per vehicle per day and free WiFi is included.

Really lovely apartment with all the mod cons. The bed was amazing, best sleep in a long time, very comfortable. Great location. We loved it so much have booked it again.
Carl and Sarah are amazing hosts. The communication was easy (they respond to any questions etc), the location of the Airbnb is ideal for everybody's needs (everything is nearby), the accommodation is 100% suitable for our 9-month old (cot provided upon request) and all in all the accommodation met our needs entirely. It's a home away from home. If we come again, we shall seek out this flat again :) thank you Carl and Sarah:)
Home from home. We moved into the Playwright whilst we were having internal building works carried out. The property was central to the town centre and was well equipped for what we needed. It was spacious and had the benefit of an en-suite as well as bathroom with bath and shower over. There is only one flat per floor which is great as there is limited noise from the other residents. It has a lift in order to access the flats. As it worked well for us, we extended our stay from 2 to 3 weeks. Exclusively Eastbourne were good with communication and responding to us when the needed arose.
Home from Home We so loved our stay here in November we just had to come again. The apartment is perfect for us and is just around the corner from the sea. It is central to the shops. Very comfortable, we feel well settled in within hours of arriving. The staff who greet you are really lovely and have great customer service. Defiinitely recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a very comfortable stay. We were able to get parking right outside the apartment although this may not be the case in the high season.
Smoking is not permitted in this property.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
