South Cliff Loft is a two bedroom holiday flat on the second floor of a spacious townhouse (so some stairs are involved). The artistic flair of the master craftsman owner is evident throughout, in the stunning feature walls he has lovingly created by Venetian marble plastering – each unique in style and colour.
The modern, open plan living space includes a dining table to seat four, a sofa and TV, plus a brand new kitchen which includes a fridge (with freezer compartment), hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Both bedrooms are flexible, with zip and link beds that can be set up separately as twin beds or together as a kingsize. No need to skimp on packing as there is plenty of storage space in both bedrooms – a built in triple wardrobe in the larger bedroom and a freestanding triple wardrobe in the second bedroom.
A chairbed in each room can also be made up to convert the room to a triple, so this flat can sleep up to six in total (supplement of £75 per chairbed/extra person). This makes it an ideal holiday flat for families or friends enjoying a break by the sea.
The large, spotless new family bathroom has a glorious skylight feature, bathing it in natural light, and includes a bath with shower over.
WiFi is provided, along with all towels and linen. Parking is unrestricted on street. Short stays may be possible, subject to availability.
The holiday flat is well placed for invigorating cliff top walks along Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters, or head east to Pevensey Bay for the historic castle and empty beaches.

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and shorter stays may be possible out of season or last minute.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
Chairbed usage/extra guests - please let us know on booking if you wish to use the chairbed(s) and there are more than four guests in total, so we can ensure these are made up for your arrival. There is a £75 supplement per chairbed/extra guest.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
