South Cliff Apartment is a striking, three bedroom holiday flat on the first floor of a spacious townhouse (so some stairs are involved).  The artistic flair of the master craftsman owner is evident throughout, in the stunning feature walls he has lovingly created by Venetian marble plastering – each unique in style and colour.

The modern, open plan living space includes a dining table to seat six, a four-seater sofa and wall-mounted flatscreen TV, plus a brand new kitchen with a fridge (with freezer compartment), hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

The master bedroom has a stunning gold feature wall offsetting its double bed, plus an ensuite shower room.   The second bedroom is a twin, while the third bedroom can be set up as a kingsize or with twin beds – making this ideal holiday accommodation for families or friends sharing.  All bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and there is a separate family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

WiFi is provided, along with all towels and linen.  Parking is unrestricted on street.  Short stays may be possible, subject to availability.

The holiday accommodation is well placed for invigorating walks in the South Downs National Park to take in East Dean and Friston, or head east to Pevensey Bay for the historic castle and big skies.

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and shorter stays may be possible out of season or last minute.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.

Sofabed usage/extra guest - please let us know on booking if you wish to use the sofabed and there are more than six guests in total, so we can ensure this are made up for your arrival. There is a £75 supplement for sofabed use/extra guest.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
