This well-positioned holiday home offers easy access to Eastbourne theatres, Devonshire Park tennis, Holywell Bay and the English language and independent schools of Eastbourne. Being close to Meads village, you can enjoy the independent shops and cafes in the leafy village or head into Eastbourne town centre (only about 10 minutes walk away).
For those without a car, Eastbourne train station is also less than 15 minutes walk away. This offers direct links to London Victoria, London Bridge, Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
Flexible Eastbourne accommodation with private entrance
Set in a striking Victorian villa on a popular residential road, this lower ground floor holiday apartment is homely and simply furnished. It has its own private entrance giving you complete independence.
It offers flexible accommodation, as both bedrooms can be set up as either doubles or twins. So this holiday apartment suits families or friends sharing. The larger bedroom has an ensuite shower room and there’s a separate family bathroom with bath and shower over.
The relaxing lounge has a pleasant view over communal gardens, and there’s a TV and DVD for cosy evenings in. As this includes a sofabed, this Eastbourne holiday flat can accommodate more than four people (supplement may apply).
A separate, modern dining kitchen has a dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, kettle and toaster. There are also the usual utensils and crockery required for a self catering holiday or short let in Eastbourne.
The apartment has central heating if evenings turn chilly (that you fully control) and there is unlimited hot water. Linen and regular towels are provided (bring your beach towels), along with enough tea, coffee and milk for welcome drinks. Parking on street is free of charge.

Firstly, the landlords Exclusive Eastbourne delivers a great service. They are attentive and service minded. We had a few issues with the apartment during our 6 weeks stay but they fixed them quickly and even when we were out. The location is perfect. It is surprisingly quiet. Close to Eastbourne college, shopping, the beach and the downs. On street parking is easy even during the week of Eastbourne tennis tournament.
This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable £200 deposit per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
