The prime Meads Village location is perfect for seaside breaks – step outside onto the High Street to amble around independent shops, indulge in home-baked cakes in the cafes (don’t miss out on the Black Cat), enjoy a pint in the Ship inn, cracking food at The Pilot Pub or the best Chinese in Eastbourne at the Xing Fu restaurant.

You may well refuse to leave the Meads given everything on offer, but central Eastbourne is very walkable and only around a mile away – there are often shows at the three Eastbourne theatres and unmissable exhibitions at the Towner (often free – yippee!!).

Stroll all the way along the promenade from Holywell (the beach below the Meads at the far end of Eastbourne) and you can take in the glorious Victorian Eastbourne Pier and then continue beyond all the way to Sovereign Harbour.

Or at the seafront head west and up the hill to Beachy Head, Birling Gap and the glorious Seven Sisters clifftops – astonishingly easy to access for walks, fossil-hunting, runs, kite-flying and more.

A small-medium neutered / spayed adult dog may be considered if they’re well behaved awon’t be left alone – please contact us to discuss your requirements and let us know a little more about your dog (£50 supplement will apply).

Linen and regular towels are provided (bring your own beach towels) with additional linen and towels provided to guests staying for two weeks or more, as with all our holiday apartments in Eastbourne.

Free WiFi is also available and included.

There are stairs to reach all the floors so this accommodation is not suitable for those who require easy access. The stairs also mean that we don’t recommend this apartment for very young children – we suggest that no children under 6 stay and older children (and adults) take care and pay attention.

The train station, with direct links to London, Brighton and Ashford International is a 20-25 minute walk away, so a car is handy. Parking is restricted in some areas of Meads and we can provide parking permits (subject to availability) for just £2 per vehicle per day which allow you to park directly outside and across much of the Meads. There is also free roadside parking a few minutes away.

Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the cottage.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
