If you are looking for a family friendly holiday home with sea view, Seascape by the outer quay in Sovereign Harbour will be hard to beat.
Set over three storeys, this townhouse has one double bedroom, one twin, one single, and a room that can be set up with super kingsize or twin beds. So, with an extra pull-out bed for a child available on request, up to eight people can be accommodated.
The airy, open communal living space is flooded with natural light – the kitchen has patio doors leading to a balcony area, while the lounge area opens up to the private patio garden. From this rear patio area, you can watch the boats of the marina come and go to the sea beyond, or step through your gate directly on to the seafront promenade.
The restaurants, bars and shops of the Waterfront are just a few minutes walk, and just behind these, Sovereign Harbour Retail Park boasts a multiplex cinema, giant Asda supermarket, Boots, TK Maxx and various other shops to browse.
Set out in the other direction on the promenade and Eastbourne centre is a lovely stroll or bike ride away, with its wider array of restaurants, theatres and attractions.

Inside the house is comfortable and welcoming, giving you plenty of space to relax after a day exploring. The lounge has a large sofa and armchairs, plus TV, DVD and CD player, and WiFi is available if you need to browse the internet for your next adventure. One of the bedrooms on the first floor has a second TV if you can’t agree what to watch – although the fantastic views over the water may be too distracting.
The kitchen is well equipped, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine, and the dining table is extendable – so can open up to seat eight.
The lower floor has a cloakroom/WC, plus there is a family bathroom with a shower over a bath on the first floor, and the double room on the top floor has an ensuite shower room. There is driveway parking for one car and all towels and linen are provided.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the house to be perfect for our requirements. This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
