If you’re looking for Sussex cottages for a relaxing break, this waterside holiday home is a great option.  Pour yourself a coffee, sink into your seat on your private decked patio, and drink in the sight of yachts and power cruisers coming and going from the marina.

Quayside is a three-storey, four-bedroom holiday home with a stunning waterside setting.  It overlooks one of the inner harbours at Sovereign Harbour, with boats moored just a few feet from its stepped, terraced garden (boat not included in the let!).

The shops, cafes, restaurants and cinema at the acclaimed Waterfront area are just a short walk away. Eastbourne centre is a pleasant three-mile walk along the promenade, or quick drive.

Inside the holiday home is modern, comfortable and well equipped for a self catering holiday for families or friends.  It is possible to set it up with six separate beds, so can suit groups who want their own bed.

The master bedroom is on the top floor, boasting far-reaching views over the marina.  It can be set up as a kingsize or with twin beds, and has a private ensuite shower room.  The top floor also has a twin bedroom, plus the family bathroom with bath and shower over.  The first floor has two single bedrooms, and with fitted wardrobes throughout, you won’t be short of storage space.

On the first floor, the lounge has patio doors opening on to a private balcony overlooking the marina.  There are two comfy sofas to relax and unwind after a day’s exploring, and with full Sky TV package (including Sports and Movies), plus a DVD player, you won’t be short of entertainment.

Downstairs is the modern dining kitchen, with window views over the water, and doors opening up to your private waterside garden.  The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of cooking equipment.

Small-to-medium sized adult dogs may be considered if they’re neutered, well behaved and will remain on the ground floor.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements and let us know a little more about your dog.  A £50 supplement per dog will apply, as with all our dog friendly Sussex cottages.

There is parking for one vehicle on the driveway,  plus further parking on street, free of charge.  WiFi is provided, as with all our Sovereign Harbour holiday rentals.  Linen and regular towels are also provided (bring your own beach towels).

Great Location, Clean, modern and convenient. Outstanding views, would def stay there again and recommend it. We had a small problem with the washing machine, but they were on it immediately and had it fixed the next day!

Smoking is not permitted in this property. Guest can smoke or vape outside or on the rear patio but not the balcony,

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short breaks may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the cottage.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent. Strictly no smoking throughout the house.
