It provides spacious and flexible accommodation, sleeping up to six people so a great place for families and friends to gather and unwind.
Walking through to the open-plan lounge-diner you will be unstoppably drawn towards the views, through the floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors. Comfy sofas and lounge chairs provide the perfect spot to absorb the vista, with doors wide open and the seagulls beckoning you out, onto your private veranda and further into the garden and onto beach. And when the night draws in, there is a Smart TV to relax in front of – so you can access plenty of programmes through BBCiPlayer, YouTube and NetFlix if you have an account.
The large master bedroom has a super-kingsize bed (or two single beds if you prefer), whilst the second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has two single beds (plus sea views), meaning that there are potentially five separate beds within the cottage so great accommodation for friends or family sharing (who don’t want to be too friendly).
The spotless family bathroom is also bathed in natural light and there is a separate shower room, so no need to queue in the mornings.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a fridge-freezer and washing machine and all the utensils you’ll need on a self-catering holiday.
Assuming that you can be drawn away from your garden and the beach at some point, Pevensey high street is just a few minutes walk away, and there are many walks easily accessible for keen ramblers and the South Downs National Park is a short drive or bus trip away.
This Pevensey Bay beach house would also provide a wonderful base for fishermen – imagine strolling out onto the beach with your rods in search of mackerel or bass for breakfast in the summer or cod in winter and spring?? The night fishing off the beach is particularly effective and you’ll have no need to take sandwiches and a flask with you when your own kitchen is literally seconds away!

Pevensey Levels, as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, lies just inland, and is packed with birdlife and rare insects and plants, so will prove a real draw for birdwatchers and nature lovers.
The Pevensey area is fill of historic gems given that William the Conqueror landed here in 1066 and changed the course of English history, such as Pevensey and Herstmonceux Castles.
From Pevensey, it’s a very short 10 minute drive to Bexhill where you must visit the wonderful De La Warr contemporary art gallery and auditorium, set in a Grade I modernist building right on the seafront, to take in an exhibition or performance. Or just sit on the balcony and take in lunch (there is usually a good soup!).
You’ll generally need to walk or run several times a day to work off the good food that awaits you locally – we point you towards some excellent options within the welcome pack in the holiday cottage and we are always available to pass on our insider local knowledge!
A well behaved adult dog which has been spayed / neutered might be considered so ask about our selective dog friendly policy (a £50 supplement applies).
WiFi is provided and there are two off-street parking spaces for the property. As well as towels and linen, you’ll find a starter pack of toiletries, and teas, coffees and milk waiting for you.

Beautiful beachfront house. We really enjoyed our week in this beautiful beachfront cottage. The weather wasn't brilliant but there's something wonderfully restful about being able to wake up and look out at the sea. The living room is bright and the decking area is great for lunches and just sitting out. We had some nice beach walks and we did manage a couple of swims. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped, everything of good quality and nice to handle. It felt like a place that's been furnished with love and attention to detail. We will be back!
Brilliant! Spent last week at the retreat and had a fabulous time. The house was more than big enough for six people and had all facilities required. Everything was clean and modern and the position on the sea front is great. Sea was lovely to swim in and kids loved it. Would definitely go back without fail.
Love the Eastbourne area and stayed many times. Chose this accommodation based on the pictures advertised and it was just as shown. It was ideal for us on the seashore and the view each morning was brilliant. Well equipped for sitting outside on the decking. Great for the children to be able to be on the beach. The property is all on one level and was comfortable and clean. A few shops in Pevensey 15 minutes walk away. Eastbourne is close and about 20 minutes drive away.
Lovely clean and spacious beach house. The house is very well located with the beach at the bottom of the back garden and the house was really clean, well-equipped and there was plenty of room. It is great if you are a dog owner as dogs are allowed on the beach all year round. We had a lovely family holiday here and would definitely come back.
This property accepts pets only with prior approval (surcharge applies). Strictly no smoking throughout the house.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the cottage
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
