Penthouse Sea Views is set in the desirable Sovereign Harbour area of Eastbourne, directly overlooking the pebble beach and sea beyond.  It is just a short stroll down the seafront to the popular Waterfront area, where bustling cafes overlook the marina.  A retail area behind this offers a giant Asda superstore to stock up on groceries for self catering holidays.

This spacious penthouse apartment is set over two levels in an attractive low-rise building set on the beach.   Take the lift to the third floor to enter, and you’ll find the living space, a kingsize bedroom, twin room and the family bathroom on this level.   A quirky spiral staircase from the living area then leads up to an attic-style suite.  This boasts a king-sized bed, skylights, spectacular sea views and a private shower room.

The airy and light living area immediately draws you to the beach views, thanks to its a huge window. Two leather sofas beckon and there is a TV and DVD player if you can drag your eyes from the view.  Patio doors open to a private balcony, where a table and chairs are perfectly positioned for morning coffee.

The kitchen is well equipped including a fridge-freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and a washer-dryer. A dining table completes this open plan living space, seating four comfortably.

There is plenty of storage space in the bedrooms, so no need to skimp on your holiday packing.   The main bathroom has a bath with hand-held shower attachment, and the attic suite has a shower enclosure.

Central heating means this idyllic beach escape is cosy year-round, and there is something hypnotic about watching crashing waves in winter while snuggling up on a sofa!  WiFi is provided, plus towels and linen (bring your own beach /swimming towels) and there are two allocated parking spaces for your use.

This stunning penthouse apartment is available for week long bookings from Saturday to Saturday in peak season.  Flexible arrival days and short breaks may be possible out of season and last minute.

We had a lovely stay in the Penthouse Sea View. The apartment is beautifully located and has indeed a breathtaking view of the sea at about 50 m distance. The apartment itself is very nice, and has all facilities needed. There is a very good guide with local activities. In short : we really liked our stay here!

Perfect Penthouse! My family & I have just stayed in the penthouse. It was perfect for the whole family. My little niece and nephew loved the playroom. We had lovely weather so was nice to sit on the balcony. All rooms were lovely and comfy. We loved the location and the stunning views. Thanks for the welcome package lovely touch. We will definitely be back!

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted. Children are welcome, however parents need to be aware there is a spiral staircase in the property which is directly accessed from the lounge, so small children must be supervised at all time. There are two allocated parking spaces, however vans/commercial vehicles are not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, with a Saturday changeover, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
