It’s a challenge to drag your attention away from the sea views, with their mesmerising effect but at least you’ll be sat comfortably in the two sumptuous sofas by the French doors which lead out on to the large private balcony directly above the seafront.
Marine Escape makes an super choice for families or friends in need of a break from city life, with two good-sized bedrooms, both offering double beds. The master bedroom, as well as enjoying lovely views out over the sea, has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The lounge-diner-kitchen has a spacious, open-plan layout, which runs the whole depth of the building, making it light, with a relaxing atmosphere.
The kitchen is modern, spotless and well equipped, with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave plus all the utensils you’ll need.
The dining table comfortably seats four.
Holiday apartments by the sea with good access for those with restricted mobility
The open-plan nature of the holiday apartment provides good access for those who have difficulty walking or those who have restricted or impaired mobility. There is also a lift to this first floor flat and it is all on one level, again allowing easy access.
We can also supply a fold-out support frame and there is a shower chair available.
There are many cafes, restaurants and cinema in Sovereign Harbour which is an attractive short walk away, and should you fancy heading further afield the culture and shopping in Eastbourne is just an hour’s walk along the promenade or a quick 10 minute drive.
Many historic sites are within easy reach such as Pevensey Castle and Battle (marking some of the most defining moments in English history), whilst Beachy Head and the South Downs National Park are must-sees in the opposite direction.
All linen and towels are provided, with additional linen supplied for stays of more than a week. Free WiFi is provided and there is also an allocated covered garage space in the gated car park with additional visitor parking spaces available.

Self catering does not get any better than this. An excellent apartment in an excellent location. A short walk through the marina to waterside restaurants with a shopping centre beyond.
This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
