If you’re looking for holiday lets Sussex, Madeira Quay is beautifully presented and overlooks one of Sovereign Harbour’s inner quays. This family holiday home is close to the beach, plus the shops and restaurants of the bustling Waterfront area.
Set over three storeys, this contemporary townhouse boasts a fantastic decked patio which directly overlooks the waterway. You can also soak up the view from the first floor lounge balcony or the indulgent top floor master bedroom.
This modern holiday let is a great option for families or friends sharing, sleeping up to six. There is a kingsize bedroom with ensuite shower room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom – plus a further family bathroom and separate cloakroom/WC.
The dining kitchen on the ground floor is well equipped for self catering holidays. It boasts an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer, plus a table to seat up to six. Patio doors lead to the terrace, complete with outdoor dining set for al fresco meals or just to enjoy a glass of wine while boat-watching.
The first floor lounge is spacious and tranquil, with two sofas ready to sink into and a large flatscreen TV and DVD player.
Sovereign Harbour holiday rentals offering dog friendly accommodation
Sovereign Harbour’s Waterfront complex is literally a few minute’s walk away, with its many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. A retail park set behind this has a giant Asda superstore, Boots pharmacy, cinema and various shops.
Eastbourne is just a short drive away, with a wider selection of restaurants and attractions, including four theatres and a contemporary art gallery. Alternatively, revel in history, with battle sites and castles within easy reach such as Pevensey Bay.
This is dog friendly accommodation; small-to-medium sized adults dogs which have been neutered/spayed will be considered. Please keep them to the ground floor and bring your own pet bed etc. Contact us to discuss your requirements and to let us know a little more about your dog (£50 supplement will apply).
Linen and regular towels are provided (bring your own beach towel), as with all our holiday lets Sussex. WiFi is provided and there are two off-street parking spaces for the property.

Great family accommodation. Well situated within a quiet part of the marina with two car parking spaces and easy access to the road system east of Eastbourne. This modern, clean and well equipped three level accommodation fully suited our holiday requirements. Three dedicated bedrooms and three toilets minimized family conflicts and the comfortable living room provided a great place for relaxation. The only negatives were a slightly cramped dining area in the kitchen (for our grown up family of five) and noise transmission through the thin inside walls had to be taken into account (though we didn't hear the neighbours). All communications with Exclusively Eastbourne were professionally handled which gave us confidence in the quality of the rental.
Excellent stay, helpful staff and lovely accommodation in a great location. Location was brilliant 5 mins walk to local restaurants and shops. Lovely setting with views of the harbour. 20 minutes drive into Eastbourne which is lovely and had lots to do, would recommend a trip to the Redoubte Fort. Property was just what we needed, plenty of space and lovely furnishings. Had a wonderful holiday and the weather helped make it a wonderful holiday. Would definitely stay again
I stayed here for a week during a sad time for our family as we prepared to say goodbye to our mother. The accommodation had everything we needed and was of great solace to me. All home comforts, warm and great views contributes to an ideal holiday home. Not for those who struggle with stairs but I would recommend this as an ideal location to explore Eastbourne and it's many sights and restaurant outlets. The house was spotless and I would definitely return if I needed to to.

This property accepts pets only with prior approval (surcharge applies) so please call to discuss. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / wet paws before entering the cottage
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
