Located in a prime location on a wide leafy street, this two bedroom holiday accommodation is within easy reach of the beach and Meads High Street with it’s fine selection of independent cafes and shops (and the recommended Pilot Pub for those in need of quintesentially English refreshment).

It is opposite the Brighton University Eastbourne campus and close to private schools, such as Bedes, St Andrews, Roedean Moira House and Eastbourne College.

Langton House flat sits on the first and second floor of a grand and glorious period building, nicely accommodating up to four people in two spacious bedrooms.

The Victorians certainly knew their sense of proportion and scale when they built their homes – their understanding of space creating a real sense of relaxation.

The open plan living space also includes a dining table to seat four.

The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and a sofa. The second bedroom has a double bed, making this ideal holiday accommodation for families or friends sharing.  All bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and there is a separate family bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Free WiFi is provided, along with all towels and linen.  Parking is unrestricted and free on street.

The holiday accommodation is well placed for invigorating walks in the South Downs National Park to take in East Dean and Friston, or head east to Pevensey Bay for the historic castle and big skies.

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or in any of the communal gardens or areas.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, with bookings running from Saturday-to-Saturday, although short stays and flexible arrival days may be possible last minute and out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
