Brand new to us for Summer 2022 and perfect as an Airbnb close to the South Downs National Park and all that is fabulous in Eastbourne.
This South Downs Airbnb comes with all the extra space, flexibility and freedom of a self-catering holiday cottage and is located in a prime spot in the leafy and upmarket Meads area.
Perfect for friends and families on walking holidays (being a amble from the start of the South Downs Way – the 100 mile picturesque route which runs from Eastbourne to Winchester), those looking for a seaside break in the UK’s sunniest spot or perhaps have children studying at Brighton University or one of the private schools nearby such as Bedes, St Andrews or Eastbourne College and need accommodation offering much more than a hotel.
Set in a very private, quiet enclave and with driveway parking for two cars, it’s an easy stroll to the Eastbourne seafront and promenade and also to Meads High Street with it’s independent cafes, two pubs and Tesco Express (so perfect for picking up self catering goodies as and when you need them.
With three bedrooms this holiday homes sleeps five comfortably, across three separate beds – a kingsize bed in the master, a double bed in the second bedroom and a single bed in the smallest bedroom. We can happily provide you with a travel cot for free on arrival if you fancy bringing along a baby.Children of all ages are welcome, and a small-to-medium size, adult, neutered dog is considered – please contact us to discuss your pet before booking (£50 supplement applies).
Central Eastbourne is also very walkable, so head there for the Beacon Centre with the Cineworld cinema complex, four theatres including Devonshire Park, Congress, Winter Gardens and the Hippodrome, and the unmissable Towner Gallery.
The Small Print
Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and shorter stays may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a £50 supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the apartment.
