Surprisingly spacious inside, this Eastbourne accommodation has two reception rooms. The front sitting room boasts comfortable sofas, a large TV and DVD player – all in front of a stylish, wood-burning stove. Step through the arch to the rear reception area, with another beautiful feature fireplace and a separate space for games, reading or other activities.
A door from the rear reception room leads into the dining area which provides an inviting focus for friends and families. This has wooden flooring throughout, plus a convivial table with benches for family meals. The well-equipped kitchen area has stylish solid wood worktops, a dishwasher and a good range of cooking equipment for self catering holidays.

There is a utility area with a washer-dryer, plus a downstairs WC, leading to a delightful south-facing private patio. This has an outdoor dining table and chairs – another area for relaxation after a busy day enjoying Eastbourne’s many attractions.
Upstairs provides three bedrooms, each with a period fireplace and lovely high ceilings. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and the second bedroom a small double. The third bedroom has a single bed, with an additional single pull-out bed available for a family of six. A large wet room boasts a walk-in shower and is stylishly decorated with period tiles.
Linen and towels are provided (bring your own beach towels), as with all our Sussex cottages to rent. WiFi is provided, and parking is free of charge on the street outside.

Pleasant family house. Very pleasant and comfortable terraced house, well situated in the Old Town of Eastbourne very close to Gildredge Park, the Lamb Inn and Waitrose supermarket. The open fire in the living room is a plus.
Perfect family accommodation. We stayed her for a week in July 2018, the house is fully equipped for a family holiday (board games, WiFi, books and videos). Close by (3 minute walk) is a good pub for food, an Indian takeaway, Waitrose and a convenience store. Travel in to Eastbourne is easy and fairly traffic free. We used the train to go to London which again was hassle free from the station in town. The back garden is fairly small but there is a safe park across the road for ball games etc... Parking can be an issue on the road as its a residential area, but we always managed to get a space somewhere on the road Beds, sofas, towels and bedding were all spotless and comfortable. A good value find, which I would go back to, good service provided by Exclusively Eastbourne from booking inquiry to leaving the property
Great house in a great location. Free parking on the street, 5 minutes to the buses which run to Eastbourne Centre, plus to Seven Sisters and Brighton. Much easier than getting parking nearer in. Also only 5 mins to Waitrose so everything is on your doorstep. Carl and Sarah recommenced the cafe at Gildredge Park “Love all cafe” which served lovely breakfasts and we had a game of tennis in the free courts as well. The house is very tastefully decorated with good Wi-fi/radio in the kitchen so felt like a home from home. Thank you for coming to meet us to when we arrived. Much appreciated after our journey down and that it was Friday evening.
Lovely cosy home. Situated in a nice area near shops and buses leading to central Eastbourne and over to Brighton. The house is very beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable with all essentials. Also, the company made a few suggestions about where to go and I can second making use of Gildredge Park where there is a gorgeous cafe and free tennis courts.
This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
