The Anchorage makes for an ideal family friendly holiday home in Sovereign Harbour near Eastbourne, offering four bedrooms to sleep up to six people in space and comfort.

Located in the popular North Harbour area of the marina, close to the Waterfront, lined with cafes, restaurants and shops, which makes for a delightful stroll for food and entertainment.

This modern holiday home is welcoming, nicely furnished and comfortable and offers lots of space for families and friends seeking an escape to the sea from busy, urban lives.

There is a sociable dining lounge, which captures the natural light nicely with windows to the front and rear gardens.  With several sofas and easy chairs, plus a dining table, this large reception room has a relaxing atmosphere to help you unwind.

There is separate TV snug with sofa and armchair, which makes for an excellent space for teenagers or anyone who appreciates room for themselves whilst holidaying with others.  The smart TV offers internet-based viewing options as well as terrestrial channels, so don’t forget your Netflix log in.

The kitchen is well equipped, with an oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the pots, pans and cutlery you’d expect with full self-catering accommodation.

There is a private, enclosed garden at the rear as well as a sunny conservatory proving further comfortable space to socialise.

Ein schöner Urlaub….! Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage und Nähe zum Strand und Hafen waren perfekt für uns. (Google translate: A nice holiday….! The house corresponds exactly to the description and we liked it very much. The location and proximity to the beach and port were perfect for us.)

The Small Print

This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted. No parties. Minimum age of lead guest is 25+

There is a week-long minimum stay, with Saturday changeovers in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season or last minute.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £500 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
