Cottages with hot tubs don’t get much more special!
Cottages with hot tubs are always in demand, but this Pevensey Bay beach house is a classy step above, with a glorious outdoor swim spa offering stunning sea views while you soak.
For a truly uplifting and restorative break in the finest beachfront location, the aptly named Bubbles on the Beach gives you just that – an indulgent jacuzzi where you can relax in the bubbles, perhaps while enjoying a glass of bubbly! And if you’re feeling energetic, you can always have a workout in the endless pool, swimming towards the blue sea…
Holiday lettings in Pevensey Bay have come a long way… Bubbles on the Beach is chic and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows from the huge living area and two of its bedrooms assuring fabulous sea views. An upmarket beach house, it is the perfect spot to enjoy beguiling sunsets on the private beach or to take a dip at first light.
This stylish, light-filled oasis has four bedrooms and – with the double sofabed in the snug made up – can accommodate groups of up to 10. Naturally it’s a summer delight, but the toasty heating and a log-burner in the lounge ensures it’s a treat year round.
Walking into the huge open plan lounge-diner, you will inevitably be drawn towards the breathtaking views of the beach, yet when darkness falls the large Smart TV, complete with surround sound system, will also be a draw. Two large sofas are set in the entertainment area, where you can pop a disc into the BluRay player, switch on Sky (entertainment package) or log into your Apple TV or Netflix account and, if the evening turns chilly, pop a log into the wood-burning stove.
A large oak dining table can extend to seat 10, and is well positioned to take in the views. Two further sofas by the sliding doors offer the perfect nook to curl up with a book or just watch the waves – and there is an Bluetooth speaker if you want some music while you relax.
The separate kitchen is modern and very well designed. As well as the usual fridge-freezer with cold water and ice dispensers, dishwasher, induction hob, regular oven/grill and microwave, you’ll find a built in steamer oven and a warming oven. The snug downstairs offers a second oven if you’re catering for a large group and need the additional cooking space, and there is a wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer down there too as well as an additional fridge and separate freezer. This useful second living space also has another Smart TV and sofabed to lounge on.
The master bedroom is kingsize, with bags of drawers and a four-section mirrored wardrobe for storage, plus a spacious ensuite shower room. This bedroom boasts sea views and a patio door onto the rear decked garden, as does the other kingsize bedroom. The third and fourth bedrooms are both twins, and one has a handy desk area, complete with Wii console and Smart TV. The main bathroom has a fabulous double shower with jets and bath (also with jets) and there is also a handy cloakroom, so no needs to queue if someone is making the most of the jets!
Looking for high end dog friendly holidays?
If you are looking for dog friendly cottages with hot tubs, this Pevensey Bay beach house could still be an option, as long as you keep your pooch out of the spa – well-behaved, neutered / spayed adult dogs are considered (supplement will apply, please call to discuss your pet).
If you ever leave the house, the shops and restaurants of Pevensey Bay high street are just a few minutes walk away. There are many walks easily accessible for keen ramblers and the South Downs National Park is a short drive or bus trip away.
The Pevensey area is fill of historic gems, such as Pevensey and Herstmonceux Castles. Pevensey Levels is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and lies just inland. This is packed with birdlife and rare insects and plants, so will prove a real draw for nature lovers.
It’s also a very short 10 minute drive to Bexhill where you can visit the wonderful De La Warr contemporary art gallery and auditorium, to take in an exhibition or performance. This is set in a Grade I modernist building right on the seafront.
This Pevensey Bay beach house has off-street parking for five or six vehicles. WiFi is provided as are towels and linen (please bring your own beach / pool towels). You’ll also find hotel-style toiletries and enough tea, coffee and milk for welcome drinks.

What a lovely house to be with family over the new year, we loved the time we had. Even tho it was cold the heated pool and jacuzzi kept the kids happy, was like an outside bath. Would really like to visit again in the summer to enjoy the full experience outside as well as inside! Would recommend to anyone! Many thanks to Carl and Sarah
Perfect place to escape! If you need a relaxed break you can't go wrong with this house. It's right on the beach so when you look out from the living room all you see is the sea and maybe an occasional dog walker! As a keen cook the kitchen was my favourite bit. The appliances are even better than my ones at home and the layout is really good. I've never had such a well equipped kitchen in a holiday home. That said the whole house is really comfortable and beautifully decorated. The large living space is great when there are a gang of you but there are plenty of places to hide when you've had enough of each other. I love the little secret snug downstairs. Great place to curl up with a book. Highly recommend this place to anyone who fancies a slice of luxury. I look forward to returning in the summer when we can make use of the pool as we only used the hot tub this time.
Fantastic luxury break We really enjoyed our stay here . I was impressed by the standards of the fixtures and fitting which added to the total luxury feel to the break . We loved sitting and watching the ever changing seascape with fantastic sunsets and being able to escape to the pool and spar . The area has so much to do and see , we loved the walks and the local pubs.
Really beautiful house with plenty of space and a lovely spacious feel. The house itself is welcoming and fun. The kitchen incredibly well-stocked - (do be aware the cooker is electric and can only use induction saucepans in case you wanted to bring your own pans as I did.) The living room has a lovely big table for dining. Great sound and TV entertainment system. A TV in every room in fact. There was a thoughtful stack of books and games. Amazing view from the living room onto the sea. There is a beautiful fireplace in the living room. Not even Storm Denis could spoil our stay! Of course, a hot tub doesn't hurt, does it? Our welcome was comprehensive and thoughtful with plenty of support on hand if needed from wonderful hosts. Everything you could possibly want for a wonderful stay on the beach. Highly recommend and we will be back without a shadow of a doubt.
Amazing view and amazing location. Love the fact that every bed had tons of pillows (which isn’t usually the case).
The view! Stunning.- watching your own personal ever changing seascape all day long. Property had everything you could need. So relaxed by the end of the week, helped along by the hot tub. Very thoughtfully designed and furnished. Plenty of distractions - games, books kites - we took advantage of all! Thanks everyone.
Wow what a place. The minute you walk in and see the view, you’ll be blown away. This is a high quality, unique, place. Really spacious and oozes luxury. We had a great time.
