Bicknell House (Lascelles) 1st floor apartment has one twin, one single and one flexible bedroom that can be set up as kingsize or with twin beds, making it ideal for families or friends sharing (as it can have up to five separate beds).
Set within an impressive Victorian villa, the apartment beautifully blends period high ceilings and grand sash windows with contemporary furnishings.
The open-plan living space has the dining table set in the huge bay window, with lashings of natural light. There is a comfy sofa for relaxing in front of the TV and, of course, WiFi is freely available. The modern kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge (with small freezer compartment), dishwasher and washer-dryer, plus cooking equipment. The newly fitted modern bathroom of this Eastbourne accommodation has a walk in shower.

This stylish short term rental Eastbourne is ideally located, just off the seafront in the heart of the town. Eastbourne’s iconic bandstand is at the end of the street and the pier is just a few minutes walk.
Lascelles Terrace is located within the popular theatres district area, with the Devonshire Park Theatre and the Congress close by. The contemporary Towner art gallery, which is also nearby, is always worth a browse. There are a wealth of eateries on tap, and children will love the Favoloso ice-cream parlour just around the corner…
If you are travelling by train, the station is around 7-8 minutes walk away and once here, you’ll find you can get around easily on foot. However if you do travel by car, we can provide permits which allow you to park on the street for just £1 per day. Please be aware that this Eastbourne accommodation is on the first floor and there is not a lift, so stairs are involved.
Bookings are for a minimum of a week in peak season with a Sunday changeover. Short stays and flexible arrival dates may be possible last minute and out of season in our holiday apartments.
Linen and regular towels are included (bring your own beach towels). If you’re staying two weeks or more a second set will be provided, as with all our holiday lettings. We also ask that you pack your slippers to help protect the new flooring and to help keep noise to a minimum for the neighbours.

Great apartment. We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Everything was spotless, all amenities loved the large Victorian windows. The weather was fantastic so made our stay even more enjoyable and we could see the sea from our window. We had really good food in the local restaurants, particularly the Italian restaurant down the road. We did some amazing walks including Beachy Head and Seven Sisters. The apartment was just perfect would definitely recommend.

Excellent location & only 1 min from the sea front. Surrounded by everything you need whether you want to cook in or eat out. What an amazing place Eastbourne & will definitely return again.
This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted in the apartment or apartment building.
There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season and bookings run from Sunday to Sunday, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season and last minute.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
