There are two holiday apartments within Bicknell House – one on the raised ground floor, and one on the first floor (so some stairs involved).

High ceilings throughout this two-bedroom, raised ground floor luxury holiday apartment provide a sense of scale and calm.

The larger, master bedroom is flexible and can be set up with twin beds or as a kingsize.   The smaller second bedroom has a small double bed (4 foot wide), so could comfortably sleep one adult, or two small children sharing.

There is a contemporary, open-plan living area, ideal to plan the next day’s adventures or to share experiences enjoyed.  This include a comfortable seating area with TV, plus a dining table and chairs.

The brand new kitchen is immaculate and well equipped for self catering, including a washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge (with small freezer compartment), oven and hob, plus a good array of cooking utensils.  Although with all the cafes and restaurants literally on your doorstep, you may find it difficult to resist the temptations on offer in Eastbourne centre.

The spotless, stylish new bathroom has a large, walk in shower.  Naturally all linen and towels are provided, with additional linen supplied for stays or more than a week. Free WiFi is available.

The train station is just a hop, skip and jump away (three minutes walk), with direct trains to London and Brighton, plus there are buses around the corner if you fancy heading up to Beachy Head and the South Downs National Park for clifftop walks, or to the picturesque villages of Alfriston, East Dean and Friston.  If you are driving, parking permits are available for just £1 per day.

This raised ground floor luxury holiday apartment is available for week long bookings in the busy periods although we can be more flexible in the off peak season and short stays may be possible last minute.

Located in the heart of Eastbourne on Hyde Gardens this spacious and modern 2 bedroom apartment is a great place to base yourself on a coastal visit. This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
