You are also on the door steps of Egerton Park which is located just across the road, Egerton Park is a wonderful place to unwind and it includes tennis courts, a children’s adventure playground and a lake where you can hire boats during the summer months.

Bexhill is full of history with its lands being some of the first to be destroyed and taken over by King William I during the famous Norman conquest of 1066. Even today some castles and remains stand in the surrounding towns that were built during this war, you can visit these now tourist sites and learn about what is considered the most significant war in British history.

As well as its fantastic history Bexhill is also a place for modern development, the contemporary De La Warr art gallery is located just 5 minutes away on the promenade and showcases many exhibitions, performances and plays.

Bexhill sits between the two larger towns of Eastbourne and Hastings and either town can be reached by train, car or bus with an average journey time of 20 minutes. Eastbourne has just undergone an £80million renovation including a large extension to the shopping centre, it now has a huge selection of retail shops, eateries and a brand new 8 screen cinema for travellers to enjoy.

The owners are extremely fond of this property and you can instantly tell that creating this holiday home was a labour of love. The second you walk through the door you instantly feel the warm home comforts you’d feel in your own home allowing you to instantly relax and unwind during your stay.

Inside this spacious home you can sleep up to 8 guests in four bedrooms. The first floor has two bedrooms comprising of one large super king room and a spacious twin room which has zip and link beds that can be set up as a super king on request, there is also a family bathroom with a lovely free standing roll top bath and a separate shower room. The top floor suite is perfect for a family unit, or couples/grandparents wanting some space of their own. It consists of a main room, which can be set up as either a lounge or a twin bedroom with two 2’6” sofa beds, and a separate double bedroom. The double bedroom can only be accessed via the main room so guests using these rooms will need to be comfortable with the layout. An ensuite bathroom off the main room with a bath and shower over completes this floor.

The ground floor includes a living room, separate dining room and an extremely well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.

The living room has a brilliant social setting with two four-seater sofas facing each other and a wall mounted Smart TV between them. This layout is great for conversation and catching up over a glass of wine while the Smart TV allows you to access all your online applications including Netflix, BBC iPlayer, NOW TV and much more (you must have your own log-ins for these applications).

The dining room has a large dining table that can comfortably seat 8 guests and is filled with natural light. There are french doors leading into the private back garden which offers a lovely indoor outdoor flow in the summer months.

The kitchen is well appointed and will be a satisfying space for those that like to express their culinary skills. The breakfast bar is a great place to setup your chopping station and with two bar stools the chef and sous-chef can easily be joined while preparing the evening meal. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, there is no need to squeeze your entire wardrobe into your case on this holiday.

The property has free WiFi throughout the entire property and all bed linen and towels are included with your stay. There is off road parking for one car and Egerton Road is a free parking road on the park side so this property is suitable for guests either arriving by car or by public transport
