Beach Dream is chic and stunning, yet practical. It just works! With floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass balustrade along the entire balcony to maximise the wonderful light and panoramic views.
This newly-built, architect-designed house makes a perfect base for a family or a group of friends – furnished with both love and style there are three bedrooms to sleep up to six people within the light-filled oasis.
Naturally it’s a summer delight, but the underfloor heating and a double-sided log-burner ensures it’s a treat year round, so you can always enjoy sea spray from crashing waves, and invigorating walks along the shingle.
The beach-facing house, with wrap-around windows, enjoys sunshine throughout the day and beguiling sunsets, plus sea views from all angles. Breathe it all in – from the kitchen, lounge, bedrooms – for a wonderful escape from urban life!
Walking into the house you will be inevitably drawn towards the views of the beach and sea, through the floor-to-ceiling windows across the width of the house.
Relax on comfy scattered cushions and rugs or head out in the private garden which leads onto the beach. And when the night draws in, there are multiple smart TVs to relax in front of, take in Netflix or put on a BlueRay disc, or you can listen to your favourite tunes through the Heos sound system or an iPod docking station.
The ground floor wet-room is ideal for showering straight off the beach and hanging up any wetsuits (should you have been enjoying kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding or simply splashing in the waves) – it has a rainforest shower and massage jets to get the blood flowing!
Upstairs, the large master bedroom has the most wonderful views out over the sea from the room-size windows, with a kingsize bed and an immaculate ensuite wet-room with rainforest shower. This bedroom connects to the upstairs lounge, with bi-folding doors opening out to the wrap-around balcony overlooking the sea and beach.
The second bedroom is a single, and is also positioned to enjoy sea and beach views. The third bedroom can sleep up to three with a double bed and a separate single bed. There is also a family bathroom on this level, so no need to queue in the mornings, and this boasts a lovely deep bath and separate shower, all bathed in natural light.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped with Siemens oven, microwave oven, induction hob and dishwasher. The washing machine can be found in the utility room, perfect for on the beach holidays.
If you ever leave the house, Pevensey high street is just a few minutes walk away, and there are many walks easily accessible for keen ramblers and the South Downs National Park is a short drive or bus trip away.
On the beach holidays in style
Pevensey Levels, as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, lies just inland, and is packed with birdlife and rare insects and plants, so will prove a real draw for nature lovers.
The Pevensey area is fill of historic gems given the nearby Norman landing back in 1066, such as Pevensey and Herstmonceux Castles.
From Pevensey, it’s a very short 10 minute drive to Bexhill where you must visit the wonderful De La Warr contemporary art gallery and auditorium, set in a Grade I modernist building right on the seafront, to take in an exhibition or performance.
The house is situated on a private road, and has parking for a vehicle. Additional street parking is available next to the house.
WiFi is provided as are towels and linen (please bring your own beach towels), plus you’ll find hotel-style toiletries and enough tea, coffee and milk for welcome drinks. Given the industrial-chic staircase we look to restrict children to those aged eight and over.

Incredible! We had the most wonderful week at Beach Dream. The house is absolutely amazing, beautifully finished with no amenities/facilities/utensils missing (apart from that there are no obvious razor/electric toothbrush plugs!). The location right on the beach is unbelievable, and the views from inside and out are stunning. I really have nothing bad to say about the house, it seems almost brand new, in great condition with no cut corners. All of the materials used in building are of top quality. Perhaps one extra sofa downstairs would mean more people could hang out in front of the TV together? But all we had to do was bring a beanbag down from upstairs! Fantastic week, and probably the best holiday rental we’ve ever stayed in!! Thanks so much!
Strictly no smoking throughout the house and we restrict children to those aged eight and over. Dogs/pets not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Friday to Friday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and shorter stays may be possible out of season or last minute.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £500 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
