This striking Edwardian house is situated between the town centre and Eastbourne’s finest recreational area – Gildredge Park. This has playing fields, tennis courts, a skate park and a great children’s playground. Not to mention some of the best cakes in town at the popular Love All cafe!
Arlington House is about a five-minute walk into central Eastbourne, with a great selection of shops, cafes and theatres (not forgetting the iconic bandstand). The beach and promenade are an easy 15 minute stroll. A visit to Beachy Head and the South Downs National Park should be a must-do activity with some of the finest scenery in England, perhaps with a visit to the inland villages of East Dean and Friston.

Arlington House is ideal for larger families or as small group accommodation, with three doubles and one twin bedroom. The master bedroom has a cot in the room – so is ideal for those with a baby. This room also has an ensuite shower room and with two further two bathrooms there is no fighting over the shower!
Downstairs is a spacious lounge overlooking the lovely gardens, with comfortable sofas and large TV and DVD player. The large, welcoming kitchen has a breakfast table for informal dining and is well equipped, including a dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of pots and pans.
The kitchen leads to a large dining conservatory, where guests can enjoy views of the garden while eating. The well maintained garden has a lawned area, lovely flower surrounds and an outdoor dining set for al fresco dining.
WiFi provided in this family friendly holiday accommodation. All linen and towels are supplied, plus extra touches, such as mini toiletries and enough milk, tea and coffee for a welcome drink on arrival.
We can happily provide advice on activities for all the family, such as trips to the Miniature Steam Railway, Drusillas Park (often regarded as the best small zoo in the country) or some of the historical sites and castles such as Pevensey Bay. We enjoyed our time in this comfortable home very much. Especially the administrators of the house, Mr. and Mrs. Stanger were very friendly and helpful. The house is centrally located and nevertheless has got a quiet surrounding. The equipment offered more than we needed like books, videos, DVDs and games for the family. Furthermore the house is tastefully furnished with comfortable mattresses.
Cannot fault it. Very Spacious, Clean and well equipped house. Excellent service provided by Sarah and the Team. All our requests were dealt with swiftly, professionally and without delay. Great location near the town centre and close enough to the seafront. Will definitely be coming back to Arlington House.
Gorgeous house with lovely original features, and the space offered was excellent. Very comfortable. Location superb, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, and surrounding areas when going by car. Managers very helpful when had queries, nothing was too much trouble.
Loved everything about this house. It is not ultra modern but well maintained, very spacious, comfortable and close to the town centre, good restaurants and within easy reach of the seafront. The stained glass windows at the top of the stairs give a wow factor upon entry. There is a self contained flat at the top of the house which is occupied but the tenant has his own separate entrance and in no way interfered with our stay - in fact we didn't realise there was anyone up there for some time.
Beautiful comfortable holiday getaway. The property was exactly as described on the website. The property was very clean and had all the equipment needed, including towels, washing machine and dishwasher.
Space, comfort and a good location. Arlington House certainly has style and space with 4 huge bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus an en suite and downstairs toilet, comfortable lounge, well-equipped kitchen and large conservatory/dining area. It is very close to the park and within walking distance of shops and restaurant. The rental agency dealt quickly with our (minor) problems and were always helpful and professional. There is plenty to do with children in the area - pity there's no sand but Eastbourne is a well-maintained, friendly family resort. Arlington House isn't cheap - and they ask for a large deposit to offset possible damage and breakages. The drive is just about adequate for 2 cars but requires some manoeuvring. However, we had a great holiday and it was great for the children (aged from 2 to 15) to have space, toys, videos and dvds to enjoy.
Great family rental home, close to the town. The house is well furnished and very comfortable with everything you need for a holiday rental. The rooms are large so even with a large group you are not cramped and it feels like a home. Location is great, you can walk to the station in 5 minutes and the main shopping centre in under 10 minutes so don't need a car. The letting agent was extremely professional and helpful from first contact and of course the important litmus test is getting the deposit back...which we did 48 hours after departure. All in all, highly recommended.

Home away from home. Located in the centre of Eastbourne with shops a few minutes away and beach within walking distance. This is a large, comfortable, clean house with all the amenities you could wish for - washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer etc. Large rooms give a sense of space but with lots of comfort. Our third visit to Arlington House and hopefully not our last!

Comfortable house in a very convenient location The house is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. It is located very close to the station and shopping centre as well as a short distance from the sea and other amenities. It is child friendly, spacious and has a homely feel about it. A very enjoyable stay.
Fabulous large house and garden ideally suited to needs of a family group. Central location, close to a park and all Eastbourne attractions within walking distance. Large family home fully equipped with all you could need for a weeks stay- even children's toys. Large rooms, and bathrooms and the conservatory was particularly nice to sit in and enjoy the sun. The owners were very helpful and efficient every step of the way..
Good house, good location. The house is a good size and as described in the details. The location is great for getting into town and close to park. The admin through Exclusively Eastbourne has been good and friendly. Our party was 6 adults and one child. We would stay there again.

Large house with car parking for 2 vehicles, very clean, extra linen. Myself and 2 work Colleagues arrived at this accommodation and was pleasantly surprised it was very clean, and next to the shopping center where I was working, I made my booking through Exclusively Eastbourne, we had enough parking space for 2 vehicles at the accommodation there was extra bedding and towel left if we need them. Exclusive Eastbourne went out there way to make our stay one of the best we have ever stayed in, they are very professional company and corresponding was excellent, I would defiantly recommend booking with Exclusively Eastbourne, if I am ever back working in Eastbourne I would defiantly give them a call.
This property does not accept pets. Smoking is not permitted.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £500 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit and/or booking deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the day of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or place in the dishwasher and switch on before you leave. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonable state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
